Conquering the experiences of pain, boredom and despair among selected incarcerated mothers through alternative learning system activities

This paper aims to describe the life stories and experiences of mothers in prison who have overcome their pain, boredom, despair through learning recreational activities, as part alternative delivery. Analysis was done using Arthur Schopenhauer’s lens. is grounded on idea that incarcerated experienced what Schopenhauer described sufferings world which comprises inevitable feelings boredom entire stay at four corners cells. In this paper, face-to-face interviews, phone conversations critical analysis appropriation pessimistic concepts were employed. As a result, three themes drawn, namely, winning over emotional psychological anxieties, seeing silver lining, determination freedom. recommends department education (DepEd), commission higher (CHED) technical skills development authority (TESDA) further extend community services or extension function for continuation enhancements delivery system (ALS) among Filipino mothers, society referred <em>ilaw ng tahanan </em>(light every home).
